FIRST IMMERSION

Just back from Nottingham where I have been leading worship at 2 events with writer Liz Babbs providing selected meditations. She released an album called Immerse on the Kingsway label, which blends meditation with music...and she used a couple of my tracks...so we thought we would turn the recording into a LIVE experience...and it worked really well!

Liz has written books on varous topics including stress and has a lot of gifts...including the gift of 'funny things happening at inopportune moments'..anyone who knows her will agree. Never a dull moment! So working with her was a possible risk to my safety!...but I survived, even though...I had to call the AA out en-route for a broken bonnett, rescue a burning pizza, witness the smashing of a crystal glass, and almost get arrested by the Police for driving off from the petrol station without paying!!!

BUT..overall it was a good debut for Immerse Live...And possibly..the first of many.....
More importantly...I became an ambassador for Ryvita...!!!!

Hi Sue

You sure have summed up Liz Babbs' well - there is never a dull moment when you are with her. She even makes prayer meetings great fun.

Oh dear - a broken bonnett? You girls should come with a health warning!! Thankfully I am not the broken bonnett! Should be bonnet as in car, not bonnett as in caroline! (Everyone confused now?)

Hey Caroline
Fancy meeting you on Sue's blog! Yep think your name must be prophetic - so am blaming you since you brought us two together!
Hey Candy suggested us 4 meeting up socially for a coffee/lunch when I'm down, she said she'd love to see you both again (but no comparing notes on what a hazard I am to work with!!). Are you girls up for it???

Am going to admit publically....and it takes great guts and humility on my part to do so... that I've bought a pack of Ryvita!! OK I'm out of the closet now! I know after all I said against it on my blog...well...I'm being evangelised..by the owner of this blog...and hey I'm losing weight, as well as sanity!
