I DON'T BELIEVE IT

Found myself on a slippery slope the other day, heading towards winning the trophy for being Victoria Mildew - grumpy girl from surrey - getting irritated by all kinds of people and incidents... fast drivers, call centres that lose your call, printer jams that leave ink all over your hands....... Even considered starting a website where people can let off steam and get help on issues like overcoming stress and how to complain with dignity. (Watch this space)
Ever felt like this? It's easy to get into the grumpy groove and stay firmly lodged there...Do you think this is a common problem? How do people jog themselves out of it?
You will be pleased to hear I took a deep breath....painted myself with the kindness brush, mashed some potato into a pulp, read the sermon on the mount..and put flowers in my hair!!! Well...maybe not the flowers!!!

I highly recommend a feather pillow and a tennis racket. It is so stress relieving!

Seriously... I just let myself rant, then repent... then grab the guitar and sit down and refocus on God...

I mean sometimes it truly IS a sacrifice of praise you know?

I find chocolate does it for me - re...lax, unwrap.. eat..linger.. See it's almost a meditation!
Anyway I'm dangerous around mashed potato so that very reference of yours to the innocent mash had me stressed! I still have the Smash potato burn scars to prove it!

I am in the Victor Zone today... British Gas finally appeared to replace an 8ft radiator this morning. (This is the 3rd trip...) This time the two guys came bounding straight in, big boots on in the bedroom(!) and enthusiastically set about removing the old one.... Noticing their remarkably small van parked outside I thought it might be pertinent to just check they had the replacement on way... You can guess can't you?!! I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! Grrrr!!!
